After three years of selling the Ho-Ho-Kus Inn of Bergen County, Chef and Restaurateur Marcello Russodivito of Marcellos of Suffern is back with partner Abe to New Jersey with a new family concept of a casual Trattoria named after his mother, with simple recipes at moderate prices.

Mamma Vittoria is the newest sensation to hit Franklin Avenue in Nutley, taking over the former Via Brera Restaurant. This causal Italian eatery offers melt-in-your-mouth appetizers and traditional entrees that can satisfy any craving, leaving you wanting more.

From clams oreganata, baked polenta, warm goat cheese and fried calamari to that Sunday craving for pasta look no further! Mamma Vittoria serves nine different pasta dishes, each served with a different type of pasta such as cavatelli with Mamma Vittorias meatballs and fresh ricotta, homemade gnocchi with tomato and gorgonzola, and ravioli with eggplant ragu.

Also, there are Italian traditions such as chicken sorrentino, veal scaloppini, beef braciole, tripe, grilled salmon and other favorites just like your grandmother cooks at home!

This restaurant is BYOB, but the restaurant shines on how much better the food is then any cocktail could offer! This Trattoria has a large party room with a dance floor that can accommodate up to 100 people, which is perfect for showers, rehearsal dinners, baptisms, communions, bat/bar mitzvahs and wedding parties. This room is also perfect for your corporate seminar meetings.
