We just wanted to say thank you for planning the perfect trip to Italy for us - we had the best time! We never would have been able to find the hotels and restaurants that you found for us. We saw so many beautiful places and ate such fabulous food that we can't wait to see more of Italy. Hopefully, you will help us plan our next trip. We have so many great pictures from the trip, but here are some of the best ones of the sights, art, churches, hotels and food that we loved the most. Thanks again for planning the most amazing trip ever!

We just wanted to drop you a line to say how thankful we were for the trip you arranged for us this past October. The beginning of the trip to Nice and the French Rivera was a nice respite before journeying to Italy
And we entirely enjoyed it! We were a little apprehensive of having our own guide for three days (since we usually like to explore by ourselves) but Guy turned out to be wonderful. Both my wife and I think he is probably the most professional and interesting private guide we have ever used.

As you know the beginning part of Italian excursion turned out a little problematic because of the weather but we enjoyed the first class accommodations and dining in Santa Margarita/Portofino and environs. Your selection of restaurants turned out to be superb. After our hike of Cinque Terre - the luncheon at Ristorante Belforte in Vernazza turned out to be very memorable with extremely dramatic views. The lunch at Hotel Splendido in Portofino was equally as pleasurable plus the Maitre D'hotel of the restaurant was fascinated with our love of Italian Wine and Food and went out of his way to explain some cooking techniques and specialties of the region.

Our luck with the weather turned better with our visit to the Piemonte Region. The visits you arranged at wineries Ratti, Rocca and Vajra were both informative and great vantage spots to see the beautiful Piedmonte countryside. I just wish we had more time to explore some of the smaller wineries in the area. Our dinner and tour of the Wine Cellar at the Michelin one star restaurant - La Ciau Tornavento was also very good. Our Guide for some of the historical places - Julia - was knowledgeable and fun to be with - I'm sure being born and raised in the area helped.

The last part of our trip might have been the best. Lake Como - nothing what I expected it to be. Villa D'Este, Villa Serbelloni, Como - all wonderful. Driver Giovanni was very accommodating and professional.

Another unforgettable trip, Marcello . We are happy to recommend your services to any potential clients who are interested in seeing in a first class way.

If you want to see Italy the right way, Marcello will book hotels and restaurants off the beaten track and arrange visits to interesting cultural sites. You will walk through vibrant city streets and charming villages and enjoy the fine cuisine and warm hospitality of the locals. You will see the famous sites, but also the Italy that not all tourists get to see...the real Italy, the right way.

We just returned from another fabulous trip to Italy and wanted to thank you, Marcello. Over the past few years we, have gone on other typical guided trips run by the large companies. On those trips you are with a large group o f tourists and in and out of hotels and the meals are at best average. With Marcello, you show up at the airport in Italy at a designated time, and he handles everything else. On this trip we had 10 people including Marcello, Carolyn and Lloyd, so the per sonal touch was excellent. For the first week we stayed at Castello di Tabiano. The setting was beautiful with views of the rolling hills and valleys. We ate many meals at the castle, all of which were outstanding. Over the course of the week we did da ily trips to Parma, Modena, Bologna, Verona, Salsomaggiore and finally Milano. I would dare to say that we had opportunities that few tourists can experience visiting Parmigiano, Parma prociutto and Balsamic processing plants. One day we had the o p p o rtunit y to make pasta at a winery, visit the vineyards and have a pasta mea l of the group’s hard work. One of the top highlights was to Vinitaly wine expo in Verona. Marcello has his hands on all aspects of the trip from transportation, choosing restaurants, menus, places to visit, etc. Some of the people chose to extend there trips to other cities and Marcello made all of the arrangements. I would highly recommend touring with Marcello
